Thank you! After @Pingüigrino posts his picture I'll tell everyone the location of my picture.
I think I may be more difficult than intended. I'll pass on posting the next picture. I have more fun trying to find the location of the posted pictures anyway. Maybe @Smallest_Sparrow should post. She may want revenge.I think it´s not a good idea for me to post another picture, it could be better that other person doing it, IMHO. Maybe you, would do it again, Rick.
I tried to find a matching image with a location attached to it. Other than a reverse image search I'm at a loss. It looks like others are too. I don't think a hint would help me but it may help others.Try this one.[wall filled with crosses]
No.Manjarin? SY
no to Rick also?Sorry no.
Lovely place run by very nice couple.Nice picture by the way...I should share with Rick, because his post made me think about other albergues in the area...but I won't. I had coffee here...nice place
yes...I can just imagine you on itOh, is that the way to the little hermitage/capilla above Montserrat? Never took it because of vertigo ... SY
I think right city, wrong location. I am in love with this pictureBasement of Seville Cathedral? Nice pic anyway.

Okay. I saw this place this morning on a rerun of Rick Steves' show on "Northern Spain and the Camino de Santiago." It is exactly on the CF and is a secular building.Next picture please @Rick of Rick and Peg! BC SY

Nope! Try again!Triacastela church, photographed from outside the cemetery? SY
This looks like it is in Galicia. It is not the church in O'Cebreira.
You're right, it's none of those!I can say what it's not (pretty sure) if that helps people guess, it's not in San Miguel del Camino, El Ganso, FOncebadon or El Acebo (if my pictures are labeled correctly...big if....
Correct, it's not in O Cebreiro! And I'll tell you you are correct that it is somewhere in Galicia...This looks like it is in Galicia. It is not the church in O'Cebreira.
Actually it could be! I remember a wall like this in O Cebreiro, but anyway, the architecture certainly looks Galician to me also. BC SY
So we have now, as hints:
A church in Galicia
With a (cemetery?) wall around it
That is not in O Cebreiro nor in Triacastela
On the Camino Frances (looking at your forum info)
... I am lost ...

Fonfria?did someone say that already?
Sorry I was away for a bit. Yes! @AJ is 100% correct! Your turn to postI think you are standing in the Alcazar.
So, while I was asleep, two puzzles have been solved. Just wanted to let you know that in my dreams I was working on the church picture. But it seems as if the church doesn't have two bay doors on the far side with red fire trucks in them after all.Early to bed and early to rise makes one (me) drowsy at this hour.
I'm stumped. I think I will have to pass on it.Most of you will have passed this.
No, No! It's all in the trucks, man. The TRUCKS.It appears this ?private albergue? has red cushions near the far window ...is that close enough to your dream?
@AJ
Albergue Emmaus in Burgos? BC SY
Gaucelmo?
No.
Clue: it isn't an albergue and it is usually open to pilgrims
thanks...I'm out then until another winner is declaredNot.
There is a house, name escapes me at the moment, in Castrojeriz that is usually open to pilgrims for a bit of quietness, calm and rest ? SY
The place in Najera with the welcome to pilgrims sign outside - run by a Christian organisation I think. It is in the same street as the church and on the way to the muni albergue (that used to have triple height bunks).
@AJ
What is the situation now - did anybody guess it? Buen Camino, SY
I think we are still guessing...and I think on the FrancesWhere is it exactly @AJ?
great story, and a good choice of a picture @AJ...I look forward to smarter players guessing itNobody has guessed it, so I will post a photo of the exterior.
If you look carefully, you will see that the door is open. The Camino runs right past this door. Pilgrims are invited to enter and pray or meditate. The owner is English. When he acquired the building it was a disused barn. He lives in the lower level.
I think we are still guessing...and I think on the Frances
I may be kidding myself but I think I remember this (but not an open door.) Somewhere in Galicia. Probably mentioned in Brierley but I didn't see a picture of it there.
Is this Arthur's house in A Balsa (just past Triacastella)? and if so you have to tell us more...what I read was pretty amazing@SY, let me know if you want me to reveal the location.
Winner! And with that I found another picture and the below atArthur's house in A Balsa (just past Triacastella)?
OK, the quality is not great, because it was, as it always was, storming when I was walking so little light available. The outside of the building really isn't much help to an ID, but I've included 3 interior ones that have some clues in them. Hopefully this won't be a pain in the, er, head.
Where am I standing, and bonus points for knowing the story behind one of the statues
Sorry...I am lost guys as I never walked the Frances.....can we get a thread for the Primitivo?
Good guess but sorry, no. This little chapel is probably half the size of Santa Maria. Is this Santa Maria church in Rabanal?
Correct and correct again! I yield the floor to @AJ...The stone cures headaches
My first thought was Naverette but I'm not seeing the solitary tree on a plaza. I think the tree is to the east of the meseta though. This solitary olive tree is somewhere...on the CF. Once again, right on the CF.
