Another wild guess, and likely wrong because it's off the CF a ways--but it fits your clues:
Eunate?
Correct!!
I thought this image was well known, guess I was wrong.
But you're warm, in a way.
Well, that certainly narrows it down to a couple of thousand square kms.It is a chestnut tree.
I can't take any credit. It was Google, not me.
Anyone else notice this? Where?
Sure did. It's been there for years. I probably have a photo but don't want to get diverted looking for it.I can't take any credit. It was Google, not me.

Las Herrerias.And the village is...?
Ahhh! I see that option on the photos posted on the forum. How do I do it with another photo on my computer? What should I open the file in, before I right click on it?There can be image recognition for some photos, e.g. my photos of Castro U, Santillana and Eunate and not for others. Right click on the photo and check the options.

No. Well on from there.Burguete?
You call that walking, C?Here you are. On the Camino Frances. One of my favourite days of walking.
There's one before Ledigos, but I don't think it's that one...I think it was a little picnic area with several tables.
I was reflecting on my walking! You call that walking, C?
That is a safe bet!I think it was a little picnic area with several tables.
No. A clue is that on that camino I walked only from Astorga. The rest area just before Tosantos? SY
Yes, that's the rest area.Between Camponaraya and Cacabelos?
Restaurante Italiano Gambrinus in Santiago de Compostela
Actually you are absolutely right about the first half! I was just remembering the part after you cross the highway at Camponaraya, until you get to that rest stop! And, @C clearly, you threw me off, saying it was your favorite day's walk; from Ponferrada to Cacabelos is one of my least favorite stretches so I never considered it! Ha ha haaaa!
You obviously didn't but I must have.I was starting to think that I'd taken a wrong turn
