Camino Frances - Sept/Oct 2023
I am on the Camino and I have lost my travel adapter to go from Europe to North America. In Astorga today but it is Sunday. Over the next few stages can anyone suggest where I could buy one? Ponferrada? What store?

I have bought a plug adapter in a supermercado before. You should have no problem finding one in one of the Asian Bazaar type stores.

But before you buy one ask where you are staying if they have any to give away from their lost and found. My hotel in Burgos gave me a European plug USB charger - they had a whole drawer full of them.

Asian shops were called "Chin" to my ear, I replaced my lost adapter at one of these after a big and fruitless search for an electrics or phone shop.
