Death of American pilgrim in Castromaior today

Oh, there are just no words.
What a life, lived and lost, too soon. Much, much too soon.

I now skip Castromaior. It is quicker and less hilly to stay on the road after Gonzar and stay Straight to the T in the road, cross over the highway, make a left and you rejoin other pilgrims as they make a right on there way to Ventas de Naron. When you get to T there are camino signs there.
But then you skip the Castro.
 
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

La Voz de Galicia has reported the death of a 65 year old pilgrim from the United States this afternoon near Castromaior. The likely cause appears to be a heart attack. The pilgrim was walking the Camino with his wife.

Here is another pilgrim in heaven, rest in peace. Miki Goldie
