The albergue opened yesterday here is a link to La Voz da Galicia who covered it
https://www.lavozdegalicia.es/notic...ue-santiago-caldelas/0003_201910D19C69912.htm for some reason the mobile link does not give photos, the ones I have seen show the albergue as a modern building with the facilities being new, I think there is a room where you can hand wash items - two big sinks, I'm not sure about kitchen and cooking items. The beds are bunk beds. Like it says in the report Portuguese people mostly walk it then Italians, I have seen a blog for a Latvian women who walked it earlier in the year, some Dutch have been on and very recently a 70+ year old Czech guy started from Braga. If you walked here then your next step would most be likely Campos de Geres which is 28- 30 km further on, there is big youth hostel there where you can get a dormitory room from 11 to 14 euros depending on your age etc.
