WhatsApp…Valcarlos albergue ?

I am trying to book in the Valcarlos albergue using Whatsapp. The albergue number is in my contact list, the number is a one with a « 6 » and it does not work, there is a message saying that the number is not registred on Whatsapp…which is obviously not the case. Anybody a bright idea ?
(BTW Wise pilgrim says that the Valcarlos albergue does not seem to be open …strange)

Why is it obviously not the case??
Not everyone in Spain is using Whatsapp.

The Wise Pilgrim app does not show a WhatsApp number. Have you tried email?

On the website it is saying to contact them via WhatsApp and they give that phone number so it a number using Whatsapp

I did email twice no answer and them Mspath give me the phone number of the attendant.

Start again. Send an email to luzaide-valcarlos@wanado.es. State the date that you wish to reserve and also that you have had no sucess using Whatsapp. Good luck.

maspath send that to me and I also found it on the town hall web site

This morning I sent a request to Luzaide on how to reserve. Here is their reply.

I'm also currently trying to book accommodation for my Camino this year. I realise that a lot of 6... phone numbers, that were still in Whatsapp in September, no longer work. I assume the accommodation providers are currently closed and don't want to be bothered via WA at the moment.
