About the "do it while you can" philosophy - take heed.

A friend I made while walking was diagnosed with cancer 1 month after arriving home. My husband had a stroke and then bypass surgery only 2 months after my return (thank God it didnt happen while I was away).

Do it now.

I agree, to add a Harry Potter quote "Do something, anything!" If you can't do something big, doing something small is much better than doing nothing.

Read an article about a guy who had very late stage cancer. Went through hell, came out cancer free, then literally less than a year later stepped out in front of a bus. My take on it? Do what you can while you can, yesterday is a cashed check, tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is ready cash, use it wisely.

I would add that whatever you want to do, you have to make it happen. It doesn’t just happen by itself.

Did not even know of the Camino until 2016 but then got a diagnosis in 2019 which made me think if not now, when? So I did!
