Vegetarian restaurant?

Hiya, we're looking for a vegetarian restaurant in Santiago De Compostela that's open on Mondays. Please and thank you.

Udon has good vegetarian options, and is open on Mondays (according to their website). I can recommend the vegan ramen.

For those who may not have reached Santiago yet, you can find Udon in Burgos and Leon as well.

Take a look at A Corre Vexeta……absolutely divine! Less than a kilometre from the cathedral on the main CF route into town. Best veggie food I’ve had in a long time!

Ooop’s sorry…..just spotted it’s closed on Monday’s. Alter your timing plans…..it’s worth it !

There's a vegetarian restaurant called The Veggie Carmen in Mercado La Galiciana. I had lunch there on a Monday.

Green House is open on Monday. Tuesday is its closure day.

Even if you’re not vegetarian, UDON is a great break from the typical Camino fare. Highly recommended.

So many of Santiago's vegetarian restaurants are closed on Monday! You could have a very good vegetarian lunch at the new and popular Nara Noodle Bar - even their kimchi is vegan, which isn't usually the case!

Those empanadas were tempting when I walked by, but I didn't stop in because it was take away only, and I was looking for a sit down restaurant.

OK Wok has stir fry and you can put what you want in with your noodles. It is pretty cheap and pretty good.

Thanks everyone for your replies. We picked Udon and our Vegan friend was very happy! But now we have a whole list for our next Camino!
