- Time of past OR future Camino
- walking every day for the rest of my life
I’ve just packed for three days hiking down at the mountain. We stay in a house with fire and full kitchen overnight - almost like an albergue! I’ll leave my packing cell with sleeping bag, towel, clothes, toiletries, a book to read and journal at the house and carry my pack which includes thermals, merino gloves and hat, buff, rainwear, sketching kit, map, first aid kit, emergency thermal blanket, padded hydration bladder. I’m quietly pleased at how compact that all is considering the number of luxuries.
Which helps me justify this:
A Gadis bag with my 2018 Camino Salvador-Primitivo blanket to finish and a new project to start.
At least I still take up less room than everyone else with their snowboards and boots and jackets and pants and helmets etc!!
