Arriving in Valença around noon and I need to get to my hostel in Tui. I would like to conserve my energy and time, so can I take a taxi from Valença Bus station to take me to my hostel in Tui? And what can I expect it to cost me? And can I pay with credit card ? Please advise. Thanks all.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

I would expect it to be around 10€ and would make sure to have cash

One spot left (female, shared room) on the Catalina Island hike. Sign up by Sept 17
Depending on when you arrive, the fort is well worth visiting. It is less than two kilometres from the bus station. Catching a taxi from the fort across to Tui would still be an option if you want to avoid further walking that day.

It is only about 3 kms from Valença to Tui (from memory) and a very easy walk. You go across the river on a lovely bridge. (Stay on the right handside for the best view 😉)
If there aren’t any taxis, I think there is a bus that gets you there in 5 min.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I put my pack in a taxi and sent it to the albergue I’d booked.
This was in 2018, I think I gave the driver €10 to include a tip.
Then I walked to Tui unencumbered.
It is an easy walk, and it’s fun walking through the fort at Valenca.
It’s flat, and takes barely an hour.

I'am also arriving by bus to Valcena but staying in Tui. Nice to read this thread because I did not know about the fort, seems like something I would like to see. Also I would like to walk across the bridge from Portugal to Spain as I had walked from France into Spain.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

Are you walking soon?? And where do you eat in Tui?

No, i'am walking from Pamplona to Santiago first than taking a bus to Valcena and walking back to Santiago. Not starting from Pamplona till May 12 but have already purchased my bus ticket to Valcena.
