Hi all! Leaving shortly for the frances from SJPP and i would like to check if im doing well packing wise:
Clothing incl what i will wear, so total:
1 short sleeve sports T
1 2nd skin layer longsleeve (very thin and light)
1 thermo / keepdry layer longsleeve
1 fleece
1 short
1 winter running tight
1 wider pant that acts as outer shell for wind and or rain protection and can be put over short or tight at cold mornings, can also be worn as is
1 PJ set (thermolegging, cotton longsleeve)
2 runningsocks (can't do hikingsocks, too thick at the wrong place)
1 comfy sock
2 bra
3 undies
1 poncho
1 softshell
1 trailrunner topo
1 lightweight sandal since i could not find toesocks for my flipflops lol and now i can walk too if my shoes are soaked or if my feet are unhappy with them for a bit
I tend to be very cold after a day outside no matter the weather really
1 bag with meds, thyroid meds for 40 days, b12 injections for half of it and will hopefully be able to get along the way, few painkillers, supplements for the whole 40 days (unsure about this, maybe just do without and try and eat best i can... i usually use gingko for bloodflow, magnesium daily, iron, and thyroid supplements) i can never take all with me. ive bbeen thinking maybe bring half of all and ship half (or ship per week ahead, but i do find that tricky also)
1 microfiber towel large (i know..) the airlite really didnt feel comfy...
1 stellar blanket from thermarest
1 silk liner
1 pillow (still deciding between inflatable or exped 230gram)
1 fast charger and different cables
1 lightweight battery
1 bose anc earbuds
1 anker sleepbuds
5 laundry sheets
toiletries being 2 small toothpaste 15g each, 1x block soap for hair, skin, body and clothes, 1 toothbrush, 1 razor, 1 pincet, 1 nailscissors,, 50ml sunscreen, 50ml facecream, 3 very small containers of vaseline (instead of bringing the whole 100ml) few wax earplugs, elastics, toothpick
1 10l light decathlon backpack for walking in town or groceries
1 sort of bumbag that can be attached to hipbelt during day and can be on its own after incl cards and cash pasport etc
debating over a raincover since i have the poncho and also over a very lightweight big shawl that can be multipurpose
1 compression sleeve for knee
1 baseball hat
1 buff
1 pair of gloves
i don't have weight per item since i dont own such scale, but my normal scale says 6.6kg incl the osprey eja 35 excl the topo and bumbag
i rather see lighter, but i can't seem to make that happen for an later autumn first time. i don't own the lightweight stuff and i have no idea what i will really need in autumn esp this odd year. If im uncomfy or cold, i will not make it for sure.
Im fit, and have trained lots with my pack, most of time incl 1 liter of water even and some fruit. I am only 49kg though... hence why i run so cold.
Did i miss anything? Do i bring way too much?
