Just interested to know : has anyone here bought / ordered a makila, the traditional basque walking pole or stick? I would love to hear about your experience : when and where you bought it? what condition it arrived when you got it back home? how you use it now?

wondering if you saw recent program on SBS with Michael Portillo walking parts of the Pyrenees?
He visited Benat, and Inaki Alberdi whose family have made Makila snce 1948.
Easy to find if you are interested.
