Hi, this is our french blog (may be you can use a translator), with where we walked from Le Mont St Michel to Hendaye... It's our french part of the camino to Santyago. The maps, and pictures of our journey.... it's a personal blog, not only about the St James camino, but use this URL:

http://manu-oliv.blogspot.fr/p/un-chemi ... -mont.html (it's the first part)
http://manu-oliv.blogspot.fr/p/un-chemi ... royan.html (second part)
http://manu-oliv.blogspot.fr/p/un-chemi ... teich.html (third part)

For the first part, I just put the way we used... we must complete it sooner as possible (expecially because it's most of the time my way and not the real st james camino)... on the second part, in 2011, it was too hot in april, with bad kind of flies in the forest, that we decided to walked on the beach... it was great, noisy, windy and beautiful. But we followed the trail to st james.
And the third, it's totally the way of st james that we used...

Enjoy,

Olivier

Have started a blog for our Camino which is happening mid June this year. At the moment I don't have much there but I hope to add details of the journey so far (as for all of us the journey started when the idea first struck a chord). My daughter and I will be journeying together so I am hoping she will add her reflections. She designed the shell logo on the site which I think would make a great pack patch.

Our blog is here - we've already started posting things like our training plan and packing list, and we'll post pictures from the road after we get started - comments welcome:

My Camino will begin 13 May, 2013 when I leave home here in Iowa, USA and fly to Paris. I have train tickets to Le Puy en Velay and will stay there until 16 May when I make footsteps south and west until they take me to the Cathedral of Santiago. Everything I see and do will be new to this Baby Boomer Farmer, including keeping a blog of my experiences.

I will begin my first Camino in about 15 days. As a 60+ y/o, married, out of shape, woman hiking alone, I started a blog 30 days out from my trip to trace my final trip preparations, physically and mentally. What to bring, what to tell people, excitement and anxiety, I've got it all. Follow along at:

Hello, My story has just begun - although I will be off on my journey fairly soon (Sept. 2013). I have found that making the decision and planning is a journey of its own and many contributors to this forum have been tremendously helpful guides along the way. I am from Oregon (Pacific Northwest) of the United States and will be headed to Paris August 31st. My blog is: http://thepaigeperspective.wordpress.com/

Starting 30 days before, my blog tells some of the stories, adventures and misadventures I and my fellow travelers encountered during my recent (May - July 2013) Camino Frances. From too much rain and snow, through blisters (and blister relief!!), from romances gained and friendships lost, there seems to be no end to what the Camino can and will do to you. I travelled with saints, literally, and sinners, and consider myself fortunate to have encountered them all. I'd be delighted to have you drop by and read some of my blog - maybe you'll find a tip for your upcoming trip or you'll get a reminder of something from your own Camino! Thanks for reading

Well after 18 months I'm only 9 days from departure and with that I'm adding my blog for those that might be interested. I only hope that I will be able to keep at it while walking since writing isn't something that comes natural to me.

Oh dear. Now I know what I'll be doing ALL DAY today! I'm already a blog junkie - this thread is going to be my favourite place, I think. Ha!

I don't know that I'm going to blog my camino. But my camino has already started with my current goal: becoming functional in Spanish before walking in March 2014. I talk about my journey in language learning, review various free online resources, and put up a new Spanish song every Friday: http://www.tobefluent.com

Hey everyone, I've jumped on the blog bandwagon, too. It's mostly for my family and friends but if anyone as a vague interest in a wannabe pilgrim's attempts with the Camino France's (I leave SJPdP 19-Sept), the link is listed below. In the meantime, I'm trying to calm my last minute attack of nerves by reading the blogs of forum members - you all are awesome and so inspiring! Thank you.

When we chose the name for our blog back in 2008 we had no idea that one day we would be walking a pilgrimage trail; it was more about the book by the same name!

I have a blog that I was keeping religiously, I mean regularly, all the way to Ponferrada and then it became a little patchy, owing to a tragic accident, involving my phone and a lovely soapy bath tub. I have notes scribbled in the reflections section of my John Brierley guide and a now very tatty exercise book that will need to spend some days writing up...
Anyway suffice to say the Camino was a wonderful experience, better than my wildest dreams. I met and learnt from so many good and interesting pilgrims and had the best time, despite two stops (5 days and 8 days) to recover from infected blistered feet, the loss of a tooth on particularly crusty Spanish loaf, the misery and inconvenience of the drowned phone and becoming a reluctant and novice mountain biker from Leon to Santiago......

It can be found at: http://www.nicholtimbo.wordpress.com

Can't wait until next Camino visit!!!!

My dear son told me the old blog was outdated and so we now have a new one for next year's walk. (Outdated didn't bother me in the slightest, but I must say I like the new one!!!!)
The background is looking back on the climb up to O'Cebreiro....can you guess where the slideshow pictures in the sidebar were taken?

I'm listing mine again because my link was apparently broken.
I've fixed it but just in case someone tried and got a bad link message, here it is again:
www.caminosantiago2.blogspot.com

If you look at the side bar, you will see posts about all different routes of the Camino, from the Frances, to the Via de la Plata, to the walk from Lourdes. You will also find a lot of great information on bedbugs, what to wear, shoes, albergues, markets, etc.

We started a blog bout our journey to Santiago. Although we only start walking on February 1st 2014, we definitely believe that the journey starts at home, with all the preparation and training. We also decided to write it in English, and not in our native Portuguese, because we hope that this way we may reach and help more people facing the same doubts and questions we went through. The blog is still a baby at this point, but we hope we manage to keep it updated as we go.

Hello, everyone! I love taking care of my blog (still not finished, though) as it feels like I am back there again (which I terribly long for).

So here it is: www.mycaminoin2weeks.com

Hope the result is good enough to justify carrying the heavy camera all the way :D

Hi.
First of all - thanks to all who have shared links to their hearts journey here, I have read and enjoyed many blogs. ❤️ I am a bit shy-ly sharing the link to my pre-camino blog. Some may say that it's a bit sappy....I will say that I do my best to write well, though :)

This collection of url's is so long--maybe someone wants to condense this on Pinterest like Jane Blanchard did for Camino authors? Anyway, I don't have a blog dedicated to the Camino, but I wrote a books about it, Camino Chronicle: Walking to Santiago; we have extensive info on our website: backpack45.com; I write about hiking for Examiner.com http://www.examiner.com/hiking-in-san-francisco/susan-alcorn; I have a Facebook page--also called Camino Chronicle, Walking to Santiago...

thanks - to be honest, we enjoyed it! The pilgrimage was short enough, we knew it was going to be winter walking, we were fit enough, it was underpinned by the retreat elements and the fellowship. An excellent and really memorable Camino

Hello everyone,

I've finally managed to set up and start a blog with Wordpress. Funny thing is until recently I always believed a blog was a piece of wood you put in the bfire.

I can't work out how to add the link to my post signature.

Can anyone help me please.

If you can, please type your answers slowly so this old guy can follow your guidance easily. :(
