Due to a late arriving flight I'm planning on getting the early train from A Coruña to Ferrol which arrives just before 8am. Tourist office will be closed. Ideas please on where to get a first stamp near the starting point.

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.

I don't think the starting point needs to be at the tourist office or a church. I got mine last month from our hotel in Ferrol before we headed on our way. Probably any bar in town or business that is open early will at least have a return address stamp to offer.
You're right it doesn't but the 'recognized' starting point is actually at the port, just down the road from the information office.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Any bar or café that is open. You don’t really need one from you start point and if you get one from your first night’s accommodation, you can still get the 2 a day for your compostela.
Ah, my first night will be in La Coruña and I won't be staying in Ferrol, just passing through.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
By the time you walk from the train station to the tourist office, it'll be around 8:30AM. Have breakfast at a nearby bar and before you know it, it'll be 9AM and the office will be open.

My bus got in at 8:30. By the time I wandered to the start point and took the obligatory photo the lovely lady from the tourist office walked past and gathered me up a tad before 9. If you had a coffee/breakfast it will be 9 before you know it. Or as above just get one from any cafe. If it is of interest there is also a pilgrim blessing after the mass at 9 at km 111 Mon-Fri (our lady of Angustias).

Thanks to everyone for replying. I had it in my head that the tourist office didn't open until 10.30! So all is good. Now just hoping that it doesn't rain the whole way to Santiago.......

Just finished SJdPP - SdC on 15 October. Now I know the camino calls you back but this is ridiculous. Barely 4 weeks, can't settle, so sod it!
Good work! Well I will write up a ‘end of tour’ report with an overview of any logistical bits and pieces so hope that helps and fell free to ask any questions ! I am not a planner and just have t shirts, shorts, a jumper, and a bucket hat, so hope it doesn’t rain.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Good luck🤞 having no rain and sunny, summer weather! 🙄
Ah thank you! Bit reckless I know. I always wear shorts in all weathers, but maybe a raincoat may have been a sensible move esp. as I bought one in the charity shop week! I know I get too gung ho about things!
