Albergues for sale?

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Hello, I am searching for a realtor that specializes in Albergues that might be offered for sale along the Camino.
Thank you! What

I'm not sure any Realtors would specialise in such a narrow market.
It would require knowledge of the various regions all along the Camino routes
Lots of travel.
Lots of potential buyers who might love the idea but lack the funds.......
Albergues are probably 'heart' buys rather than 'head' buys...

There aren't that many that come up for sale really.
I've looked over the years, with some google searches.
You see a few here of course.
And on Facebook.

I suspect many are sold privately without ever appearing 'on the market'.

I doubt very much that you will find a realtor to help with this type of purchase. They are usually regional and therefor not likely to know of properties outside of their view, and they usually handle the sales of properties and not businesses which is how the locals would perceive such a transaction.

There are quite a few that are 'on the market', and by that I mean that the owners have expressed interest or need to sell.

It would help to know if you have a particular need in mind, particularly with regard to route and region. Setting up in Palencia is not the same as Navarra or norther Portugal. The same would go for size, as a 10 bed albergue can be operated by an individual but much bigger becomes much bigger.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
If you have never been a hospitalero volunteer, don't even think about buying an albergue!
A friend of mine bought an albergue last year. After having spent a total of 14 days on the Camino and never been a hospitalera for a day. She is almost finishing her first season and she still loves every minute of it. But I agree that she will be the exception.
