LIVE from the Camino Is there anybody out there?!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hello! I am on day 19 from Pamplona on the Francés. At O Pedrouzo, 13 miles from Santiago. Also deserted and most things closed. Lovely isn’t it! I also did Jan/Feb this year from Leon. That was even emptier. For all the debates on summer bed races etc, there are easy options.

On the Inglés at the moment and it's deserted. As the Pink Floyd song goes, is there anybody out there?!
LOL I walked last year at the end of October and while we did meet a school group walking we only occasionally saw other peregrinos. I enjoyed the quiet, but missed the Buen Caminos being recited all day.

Buen Camino!

It was much the same when I walked this a decade ago just before Easter. I was the only pilgrim in the couple of places I stayed before Bruma, when there was a crowd of younger pilgrims. They left the next day before I did, and I never saw them again. On the flat, open sections with straight roads, it doesn't take much for other pilgrims to disappear from view, they disappear even more quickly on the windy roads and in wooded areas.

Perhaps you will have more company, if that is what you want, from Bruma, where the two CI routes join up.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

@Marus99 and @Hilly Hope you're both still enjoying your walk even though there aren't too many other pilgrims on the Inglés and Francés.

Just a note that once you get to Santiago, come by Pilgrim House for some company and a place to hang out for pilgrims during the day! We'd love to meet you. Through December 23, opening hours are 10am - 6pm every day except Sundays and Wednesdays.

Buen Camino!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

I am planning to walk Coruna to Sergude Xmas Day and Sergude to Bruma the following day. Not expecting it to be busy!!

Walked Ferrol to SDC a month ago and very quiet. Maybe saw 8 other walkers.

I’m not, but I wish I were! Oh how I’d love to be a perpetual pilgrim walking Caminos and meeting lovely people from all over the world for the rest of my days - in ANY type of weather! One day I’ll move to Spain and make my dream come true! One day…..

I second that emotion.

Buen camino
