I hope this is the right place to post this.
This is a podcast I have mentioned before that is so full of Camino history.
This podcast illustrates so well how much things change but how they remain the same.
I think any pilgrim that listens to the podcast of Hospitals on the Camino will enjoy this.
The narrator is a professor so the delivery is a little dry to say the least!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I can't improve on this sentence! Thanks for the link. I did not find it dry, though. Informative, yes.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I would like to like your acknowledgment, but have no idea what you mean. I looked up the term. I still have no idea. I am a native English speaker. 😇
Me too! I scanned the web for 'silica tolerance meaning' and came up with a lot of very technical stuff about plants and drought survival. But I suspect it's some zeitgeisty US expression, the kind that often comes up at TED Talk presentations - so do please enlighten us 🙏

I think it is even more likely that it is autocorrect that wasn't noticed, something I am often a victim of.

As age continues its unrelenting march towards my final oblivion, I have no idea what I was trying to say. For the life of me I can't remember. Wait what did I have for breakfast 20 minutes ago?????
Thanks to @David Tallan for recognizing what may have been a self correct. But most likely was a brain freeze. I really should proofread what I write before I post!!!!! Love you guys hahaha

Well, honesty is the best policy, after all! Thanks for reply. And I will listen to other podcasts of the fellow, when I have time.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hope that you listened to the podcast. If you did I hoped you liked it as a modern day pilgrim/hospitalario!
I am traveling (right now in Canada on my way back from a summer drive to Alaska), but I will mark it to listen when my internet connection is a bit more permanent. Thanks for posting.

So maybe I was just working too hard to make sense of your comment! I thought it was referring to the little packets of silica that are inside bottles of vitamin supplements and other products to absorb moisture? Hm, I thought: Silica keeps things dry, this professor has a dry delivery, so he must have a high silica tolerance? I just assumed this was a quirky, creative comment I've never heard before 🙃

Silica is something very dry akin to sand. Also, a variation of it is used to prevent moisture in moisture sensitive products. Few replies and acknowledgements seem to relate to silica being dry. Buen Camino.

Zero tolerance? Is that what you meant?

At least in the “podcast” app on the iPhone, it gives you the option to download it for off-line listening. You have to click on the three dots next to each episode.
