Hi everyone!
I may have the opportunity to go on Camino on the last week of January 2025 and seriously considering the Sanabres.

I've read many posts and researched about the weather. Still, does anyone have information on how does it feel in the new albergue at Oseira in winter? How cold is it? I read they have heated floors, but do they have blankets? How does it feel?

I usually walk with a very light pack and use a liner, so adding a sleeping bag would require some extra trainning for the weight (besides purchasing a sleeping bag 😅).

Thanks in advance!

I stayed in April of las year, no blankets.

We stayed on 6th May this year and the heating was still on - everyone was baking and quite a few folks left early as they couldn't sleep because of the heat haha! I can imagine the heating would be very welcome in the winter. Disposable sheets no blankets. I had intended using my sleeping bag (a £25 Mountain Warehouse one) but was too hot even just in my silk liner.

Unfortunately yesterday (06.09.24) my girlfriend lost her beloved sunglasses, somewhere between Rionegro del Punta and Mombuey. Please keep an eye for them, gracias!
