My home is in northern Alaska. I'm an experienced traveler and most of it has been done alone. I've been cycling by google maps lately; maps has taught me a lot about getting lost and following a path to its end. I have never done a long distance hike, but then I'd never biked before hitting the Rhine Valley. I am a perpetual novice
