K_Lynn replied to the thread 4 and 5 star hotels.In smaller towns (which is most of them) there will be private accommodations in basically 1 star hostels/posadas/pensiones. Large cities will have 3-5 star accommodations. -
None of the routes I have walked offer that level of accommodation outside of major cities.

Perhaps not the Scholls brand, but silicone toe tubes are available. I bought some that were a few inches long that you can cut to size. Like these:
