Up on the Roof of Santiago de Compostela Cathedral

Taken by a friend during the roof tour.
It's a fabulous place, no doubt about it.
And I'll happily take you up on that! But both of us would be preferable to just me, so long as it's not one of those Darwin Award winning selfies. :D

@Viranani Is that like a trimming the species down thing where we both fall off the roof? God knows I am SUCH a klutz, which I noted here earlier. During my tour, I was being so deliberate.

@CaminoDebrita...more or less. :) It's a posthumous award given to people who improve the human gene pool by accidentally removing themselves from it, usually with spectacular stupidity. Actually, a fall because of a selfie is probably way too ordinary to qualify.

@Viranani I was chuckling thinking of how morbid it would be to do a google search...I think I remember seeing some of those award recipients online. The guy who runs himself over while checking for the cat under his car, etc.

Yes...
There was the tragic story of a young man in the news just this week; he was in Yellowstone celebrating his college graduation and fell in to one of the hot pools when he was testing to see if the water was cool enough to soak in.
Or....A friend's father was in Africa and put his hand through a fence to pet the nice lion, with predictable results.
Things like that. Obviously fences and barriers don't keep people safe. It's common sense that does that.
I suspect we'll be fine.
