About one week ago the Portal of the Vézelay Route (Via Lemovicensis) to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port was handed over to the French Associations managing that Route, to begin with: the Amis et Pèlerins de Saint-Jacques de la Voie de Vézelay. The URL of the Portal now directs visitors to the Amis de Vézelay website. That website does contain a digital map with the facilities along the route but the website does not (yet?) offer the possibility to download GPX-/KML-files. Besides, the information is in French only.

The (Dutch) working group that managed the Portal continues to offer the usual information via the website of the Dutch Association of St James. The information on the Vézelay Route can be found via this welcome-page. The English-language GPX-/KML-files with facilities and the (only) English-language guide (PDF) to this route can be downloaded free of charge.

Thank you--I was wondering why I was having trouble accessing certain Vezelay websites a week or so ago !
