Camino Frances - Sept/Oct 2023; July 2024
Hi -- I am planning to walk Camino Frances in September/October and would like to experience San Fermin Txikito in Pamplona in late September. I'm not looking for information on the July San Fermin festival with the Running of the Bulls -- it's the "little" San Fermin festival in September I'm hoping to enjoy. It's my understanding that Saint's Feast Day is September 25 (a Monday in 2023) and the fiesta is usually the last weekend in September. However, in 2023 September 30 is a Saturday, so I'm not sure if that counts. In 2022 the holiday was held Friday 9/23-Sunday 9/25. Does anyone know whether the date has been set for 2023? It is usually the weekend closest to the Sept 25? I haven't been able to locate the information on the internet....anyone out there with local knowledge? Thanks!
