Via Francigena - this year
Hello, we are a family of 5 travelling from Australia on a 7 week trip of Europe. We are walking the first few stages of CF from SJPdP to Pamplona only. I've been searching the threads for info on sending 4 bags directly from SJPdP to Pamplona, but not finding much.

Also, we've booked private accommodation in Pamplona, so probably wouldn't be an option to drop it directly to that address. I've emailed Express Bourricot (no reply) and another company (who can't do it) and wondering what some people's suggestions might be. We are travelling with 3 youngish children, one with special needs, so was hoping to be as streamlined as possible.

TIA and please say hello if you see us, we're starting on Saturday 27th of April :)

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
Will you come through Pamplona on your journey to SJPDP? If so, maybe check with your private lodging to see if they will hold the bags. You may have to ship in 2 steps if you coming through Paris. SJPDP to Roncesvalles then switch to Correos to send to Pamplona. Link below with the info. There is a drop down for English.

Thanks for the tip, but we aren't coming from Paris. We are going skiing for a week, so will be coming from the French Alps and flying into Biarritz.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Yes, I was thinking that this might happen...and we're staying at Orisson's the first night, which means I believe we have to use their recommendation only (Transports de bagages Harispe). Has anyone else used them yet for Orisson's?

I understand now what you meant - yes, I think this will be possible. Thank you!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Great! Thanks for that tip. I did contact Donkey service though, and they said specifically that they couldn't transfer to Pamplona. We'll probably take an earlier tip to transfer to Roncesvalles and then with local mail to Pamplona.

Sorry to hear that! I will recheck the reservations I have with them!
