Leaving a small bag at Madrid airport

Hi , I'm looking for some advice. I'm flying to Madrid and catching a bus to Burgos to walk to León. I'm using a light weight foldable bag for my rucksack & poles but I would rather leave the foldable bag at the airport. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced way to do this, or is there a way to post it to León from the airport? Thank you

As an alternative, I use a lightweight rolltop bag to put my rucksack and poles in (poles in the rucksack). On arrival, I put the lightweight rolltop bag in my rucksack and it later becomes my rucksack liner (to help against the rain)

Depends how heavy your lightweight bag is of course, and its design.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

Thanks, I would have to buy a different type of bag for that. Might try to post it to León. Appreciate the advice, thanks.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
It might be cheaper to use a very inexpensive bag - maybe one from a charity shop and leave it behind at your first accommodation, then buy another cheap bag when you are ready to go home.
I was going to suggest the IKEA Frakta bag with zipper, but it looks like they aren't available in the UK anymore. However this IKEA bag should work.

Or this one for £2 more

What size rucksack would this fit? Ive got an osprey talón 33. This looks ideal if it would fit. Thanks
That was just a random pic to show what was available. I have the same rucksack but I cant remember if I have a 40 litre or 50 litre liner as there are no markings on it. Sorry!

However, there are similar bags, a lot cheaper, so I just bought a couple of sizes to see which worked for me

Thanks, I've ordered a 40 litre. If it doesn't work I can use it as a dry bag anyway. Appreciate the help, thanks.

Just an update. I have succesfully arrived at Madrid. Used a 75litre dry bag for my rucksack and poles. Was cheap and only weighs 80g. Worked a treat! Thanks for the advice. Now off to Burgos to stat walking tomorrow.
