Hi, everbody

First we like to introduce ourself.
I'am Ger, and my wife's name is Thea.
We're living in Reuver in the south off the Netherlands.
We're making plans to walk The Camino Frances , starting in may 2006 in st.Jean Pied de Port.
I'am a diabetic, and also I have celiac, so we have a lot to plan.
Any information and suggestions you have, are very welcome.
Look to our site:http://ongerwaeg.web-log.nland visit the guestbook.

Thanks, and Buen Camino for all the peregrino's.

diabetes and celiac disease on camino

It all depends how much medical supplies you must carry with you. Do you take insulin? How many units a day? How much you can carry, and what can you get at local pharmacies? I think celiac care will be more difficult. You must get information on availability of your brands of meds in Spain, or send supplies to yourself to different addresses on the way. Find zip codes of local post offices and send to your name poste restante. I only have good experiences with Spanish mail.
