Sorry to hear this...

I would:

1) Get a mask at any pharmacy
2) Walk down to HM Hostptales (the emergency room there)

The emergency entrance are down the side on the right hand side when you get there. They will help you. It is a private hospital, so you might need to pay a little for the visit... ask when you check in how much it will be.

Get well soon!

"Camino from 2013 to 2019" paused for now...
Hi Sheila, ask at your accommodation where your nearest "centro de salud" is.

These are local health centres and very good. Search using "centro de salud santiago de compostela"

Have your European Health card or Travel insurance to hand. Use Google Translate if necessary. Some staff will have excellent English.

The local pharmacy will advise and sell suitable face masks.

Take care...

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hi all, arrived in Santiago today, after walking the Portuguese Coastal. Tested +ive for Covid this afternoon. Can anyone advise on how I can get 1. Doctor's appointment & 2. Antivirals ASAP, please. Feeling pretty unwell.
Hi Sheila...Congratulations on finishing your Camino. Sending you some Healing Light from Perth. Hoping you are able to access the Anti viral and hope you recover as soon as possible. A real "bummer" that Covid has intruded. 🌻🍀
