My husband and I are walking the Madrid route at the beginning of October and were wondering what would be the best way to go onwards from Leon. Options I have seen are del Salvador to Oviedo and then the primito route or connecting with via de la plata and doing the southern route through Ourense. We are not one for crowds or road walking, hence the madrid. Time is not an issue. Any suggestions would be very gratefully received. Thanks. Sian
