That's helpful information. I suspect this route is growing in popularity. A few weeks ago I was walking along the riverbank in Seville and the route into the city from there is route is now very clearly marked with arrows,
 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Apparently there's also a private albergue in Cádiz. It's a backpackers' albergue called the Cádiz Inn. The address is calle Botica 2, and is 15 euros, including breakfast and internet. I think there's a 10% discount if you have a pilgrim's credential.

the Asociación Gaditana http://www.asociaciongaditanajacobea.org/ have been busy waymarking the route over the past few months. See their revista "Pro iter agentibus" on their website for some photos (files are quite large and seem to take quite a while to download)
