Hello. Planning to go at january. Can anyone recommend a route which is alive as possible? Open Albergues, open cafes. No snow maybe? A 2 weeks route. Maybe more.

I agree with Falcon269, we have walked the Frances during the winter and never has a problem with accommodations. No snow? If you are walking the Frances you will walk through snow and other harsh weather. I know nothing about other routes other that what I have read. Winter is winter everywhere. But I prefer winter and less pilgrims.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Why not start South in Malaga or Almeria and do 2 weeks on the Mozarabe? You might not not meet snow or any other pilgrims though.

You could start the Via de la Plata from Sevilla. The weather is nearly always nice down there and most allergies are open year round.
