Camino on Ile de la Reunion!

Thanks as ever Laurie! I have diarised this for 2019 as next year is planned.

I am just back from the Ile de la Reunion and part walked the Camino there along the littoral. Ever heard of this one?!?

Wow. I had heard of this island, but had no idea there was a Camino group promoting trails. I bet it's beautiful. Guess the list of caminos is endless!

Hi filly, does this follow the coast all the way around the island? Do you have a link to a website? I have never heard of it before. This would be a good trip for my local hiking club, as we are just a short hop skip and a jump from Réunion. (Sorry to hijack the thread Laurie. Please move us to a new thread if necessary.)

The church by the way is the start/end point in the capital Saint Denis, l’Eglise de Saint Jacques.

This church on the east of the island was miraculously spared destruction from the lava flow..
