Wineries on the Norte

I will be walking the Norte in September,and would be keen to visit wineries along the way if there are some in that area, and close to the path we will be taking. Any suggestins?

Hi Alan,

You have my attention. My wife and I would really enjoy a stop at a bodega or two!

However, I'm not sure whether this is much of a winery region. Normally I hear about wine being produced more inland. In fact, the closer I got to Santiago when walking the Camino Frances, the worse the wine became with dinner. Just an observation.

I'll be watching this thread.
