why do I get the "images not found" message?

I often get the "images not found" message when photos are displayed within a thread. Some times I see the photos, but often I see a blank box. When I click on it I get the message that the images are not found, yet other people make comments about the photos, so some people can see them. Is it a problem of not having the correct level of membership or a security setting within the Camino app or my own security? The crazy thing is I am able to see photos in some posts but not others. The post that motivated me to finally ask the question was the one about completing the Via Francigena that appeared in the email listing Yesterday's most read topics.

This might be because you are using an old browser... maybe an old computer that can not be updated to a newer version? Try it on a newer device if you can... see if that fixes it.

It has to do with the image format that the new forum software use. It uses the WebP format:

WebP - Wikipedia

en.wikipedia.org

..that compresses the size of the images very well, very small files but still pretty much the same quality.

It must be the old version of Safari. I was able to see the images using Chrome. Thank you
