Where to buy an Opinel in Burgos?

I'll be staying in the cathedral area for the night. Last time I made good use of my little knife corkscrew combo but this time I plan to attempt to carry everything on (last time I sent through my poles and my knife as luggage). Where's the best place in Burgos to purchase an Opinel? I've shopped at both grocery stores in the cathedral area (I think it was a DIA, and El Arbol across the river) but of course I wasn't looking for a knife then!!!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
It might be hard to determine a "best place." They are everywhere, though. ;)
Ok every where like what? Grocery stores? Sporting goods? Hardware stores? That souvenir shop on the corner across from the cathedral? The camera shop across the plaza? ;-)

Yes. They all probably will have them. Even tobacco stores and magazine shops. And, for course, cutlery stores. Bodegas have them, too.

Thanks much!! Just didn't want to waste time wandering :)

We have gotten them in the hardware stores. They are less expensive there. Look for a ferreteria ( ? spelling). You will need to know what number you want. We like the 6. You will need to know if you want a stainless blade (INOX) or a carbon blade. Shouldn't be a problem.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Any ferretería stocks them.

Cool thanks!! Looks like there there's a hardwear store just a few blocks from the bus station and a cuchilleria (cutlery shop - $$$ I bet) between the Plaza Mayor and the cathedral!! Thanks all for the assistance :-)

I bought the Opinel 10 with corkscrew from the Ibenez knife shop by the cathedral in Burgos. It's like an old fashioned button shop with hundreds of drawers but they contain knives. I had the best customer service ever. I asked for an Opinel 10 and the shopkeeper opened a drawer and showed me a 10. I said 10 with corkscrew and pantomimed opening wine. He said ah and walked over to the "special drawer". The knife was boxed. He presented it to me demo-ing its use. Then wrapped it up like it was made of gold. Then walked me to the door. Sad to say though on its first use the corkscrew broke but I'll deal with that when I get home...

I advise the no 6 also. Knife enthusiasts like me can tend to get a bit carried away as to size. Again it's that size business!
Regards
Gerard
