Thank you @Turga for this reference, which I found recently. I began to watch it. Strangely, with patience. Why with patience? Danish is a foreign language! However, the first programme promised a revelation. Moments of English to shine a light, but the general impression is of someone who is searching, and thus on Camino. I have just watched the fifth episode, where he finds Tomas. In the previous episode he thought he had found Tomas, but it certainly was not! When I walked past there in 2006 I was more impressed by the similarity of the landscape to the left with the landscape of my own country (it is my avatar photo). We walked on to have a memorable breakfast in El Acebo. I think Tomas may have been fighting with health or bureaucracy at that time. I was very happy to see the reality of the Manjarin project, and especially to listen to Tomas saying so simply that the attitude of searching is what makes a pilgrim, not the quest for adventure. I will continue watching. Less than 20 minutes if you skip the intro each time. His gear is not the typical superlight camino walker apparel! That too caught my interest...In 2010 the Danish journalist Mikael Bertelsen walked the French Camino and made a TV-series of it. It was shown during December as an ‘alternative Christmas Calendar’. He is a quite spiritual and thoughtful person, which was reflected in the series. I was fascinated by the programs and I believe that was when I decided that one day I would walk the Camino. It took another seven years before I got to do it – for the ‘usual reasons’, work and other commitments –you know.
