And he chased her shadow out from the darkness
Out onto the world that turned under the clouds, stars and her

Evanescent steps across the milky river he...
Ran

Far and away from the deadly coil of his life

And
She sang to him
Softly
Sweetly

He said onto her back..I am your shadow
You cannot leave me
I am alone.

And she smiles
As long as the shameless ocean breaks herself on the shore
As lobg as the trees await the spring to feel the carress of the winds fingers
As ling as the the foolush bough breaks into its arms
Ahh my heart
Will shine my eyes for you

I am as written as the time
Ever yours
ever mine

Even in the winters time
I am yours
You are mine

Truly loving
I am cast into your eyes

Here i am
Waiting
Home for you

The bows undone
Amd my youth is gone
And come you
Not tomorrow...

So shines his sorrow
As puzzled as a newborn
And old as flowers in December
So was his sadness

And she turns her eyes to St.Iago
Time steals you away
And the wrong does stay

She says
He is not young

No one...
Is forever young

And so he opens up to the dew in his eyes once, again.

That song fading in his head and the painfull strings in his heart as swift as time
As glacial as his life

Grunting
He pulls his pants up over old and nobby legs..the course hairs grey and wirey
Dust floats in little swirling galaxies about their business in the crepuscular morning light.

Outside some patois is floating..some laughter, some cursing...diamonds,in the morning
His old canvas pack with the stain and new hiking poles with"those" annoying tips...

Stepping out into the morning air with his old eyes he harrumphs and points his old self west....

To be continued..maybe.

Love this...paints a wonderful and thought provoking picture in my head. I will ponder on these words again and again.
