My wife and I are planning to buy a house in the north-west of Spain for our retirement. Today, while scrolling through the ads, I noticed this: https://www.idealista.com/inmueble/106560131/ which, although not stated in the title, looked like an albergue with a small restaurant.

I have no intention of buying an albergue or restaurant, but I was surprised by the price, the exterior look and the location.

Or... better: we WOULD "theoretically" like to buy an albergue, but we have no experience in the hospitality - or other - business and it would be too risky and demanding for us. However, I thought someone else in this community might be looking for something similar and so It would be nice to help them. I was also surprised by the "Japanese cubicles" they installed inside.

Please note that I have nothing to do with the seller or this business. I just found it by chance. So don't ask me any questions... 🙏

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

interestingly, my wife suspected the owner was Italian (like us) because she found a reference to "Gnocchi alla Sorrentina", something pretty unusual outside Italy.

I have to say the menu and the food pictures look good from our national perspective...

I’ve just bought in Galicia and I’ll give you one piece of advice. The price listed is generally quite a bit higher than what they expect. Go in at a price you think is a steal and it’s very likely you’ll both be happy. Also, if you go through an estate agent be prepared for higher than usual commissions.
