I live about 50 kilometers or so from the ocean..so when i showed up today for work after talking to a buddy about his Vegas wedding, me wanting to go to shoot said wedding and other stuff...

Looking down and I saw this in the parking lot.
I work surrounded by agricultural fields
Serendipitous?

And reminding me that life can be adventurous and not a slow drudge up until your dead.

Life moves on in spite and despite whats in the way.
I have my stone for the Cruz de Ferro
I have a scallop shell....
Lets see what the future holds!

Perhaps a sign for you to return to the Camino. I never thought about going to Spain...it wasn't on my "list". But then I went on the Camino Frances and walked all those lovely steps on back roads and in the middle of nowhere and now I feel like I know Spain - like it's another home for me. Maybe the shell is merely Spain calling you back home for a visit.
