Time of past OR future Camino
Via Vezelay (commencing Sep 2024)
My wife and I decided at the end of our 4th Camino (2023 Del Norte/Primitivo) that, at age 70, we had walked our last Camino. However, it wasn't long before we started thinking about putting our packs on again. Hopefully, the Via Vezelay will be a little less challenging.

We step off from Vezelay on 8 Sep 2024 and hope to arrive In Roncevalles on 25 Oct. We'd be really pleased to hear from anyone who has walked this Camino in recent times regarding the state of the sign-posting/route marking. We would also be delighted to hear from anyone who is going to be walking the VV around the same time.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hello Cullo!
Some years passed by since I did the Voie de Vezelay / Via Lemovicensis (2012) but I know that that waymarking has improved a lot since then.
May I recommend you to visit the website of the Ami’s et Pelerins de Saint Jaques in Vezelay. They offer a wealth of information as lists of accommodation along the way and gps tracks.
Bon chemin!

Sorry,

I walked it in June. The route is well marked, you won't have a problem finding your way. The website Josefus linked above is an excellent resource.

Wishing you a wonderful walk- bon chemin!
