Hello Everybody, we need a shuttle from SJPP back to Le Puy after our Via podiensis walk. Does anyone know if La Malle Postale shuttles pilgrims from SJPP to Le Puy seeing that their luggage service ends at Lectoure ? Would appreciate an answer. Thanks

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

No, La Malle Postale is replaced by "Transport Claudine" in the end of Podiensis. Furthermore it will be an expensive and long travel...
I suggest take a train. Unfortunately, you should go to Paris first:
- SJPP-Bayonne by TER (local train)
- Bayonne-Paris Montparnasse by TGV (high speed train)
- Paris Montparnasse to Paris Gare de Lyon by subway
- Paris-Gare de Lyon to Lyon by TGV
- Lyon-Saint Etienne by TER
- Saint Etienne-Le Puy en Velay by TER
That will be a quite long journey (you should book a night around Paris), but not so tiring...

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Of course you are still in France so no cross border fees so the possibility of renting a car one way might be an option. I think there is one rental car agency in SJPdP. Who knows?

You can rent a car in Carrefour Market (AVENUE DU JAI ALAI, 64220 ST JEAN PIED DE PORT), but I guess you need to reserve it:
Perhaps through ADA it is more convenient:
You can also ask the pilgrims assistance at SJPP:

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

Hi, Can anybody recommend a Gite in Gramat? There seem to be a good number of places to stay, but I would like something near the GR if that's possible. A place oriented toward walkers would be...
