Hi Everyone,

My first post here. Myself and my wife are planning a Camino (France) in 2025. I was wondering if there were any other Type 1 Diabetics on the Forum who have walked the Camino and if so, how did you overcome the challenges of managing your condition (Insulin dosing, storage etc.) during the walk?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Hello and welcome here.

In the upper right corner of this page you will find the Search Engine. Type in diabetes or insulin (for instance) and you will find a lot of questions and answers regarding diabetes 1 and 2 and medication.

If you scroll down the page, you will find a separate section named Health and Medical Topics

https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/forums/health-medical-topics.32/

Always speak with your doctor before you leave and tell them about your plans. Buen Camino!
