Hi all. After having to cancel a Camino Ingles last month for family reasons, I am going try again next week. I couldn’t make up my mind which route to do, so why not do both! Well sort of. i.e. on day 3 when I get to Bruma after starting from Ferrol, get a late bus back to Coruna and walk from Coruna back to Bruma next day! And then carry on.

It seems fines albeit with some long days but I have 5 days in total which seems to work! Am I missing anything daft?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

I shortened my stages, so took more than 5 days total on the Ingles. I started out visiting A Coruna first for some sightseeing, then took the bus to Ferrol for a seamless walk on the Camino Ingles, but your idea should work fine, too.

That dodges the accommodation question in Bruma once, maybe twice if you’re inclined to route via Ordes and take the long day into Santiago from there. Means you miss the midday mass but O Bispo will be open 😉

On past trips I’ve flown in to A Coruña, bused to Ferrol, walked to Santiago and walked back to A Coruña via Sergude. Has always felt like a journey

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Great thank you! Yes the accommodation issue was also on the mind!! It all seem to work on paper anyway!!

One query if you please. By doing this 'additional' type of Camino, does it earn you more Heaven-entry points from God; you know, like maybe getting you to the front of the line or getting you in more easily. I need all the help I can get. Thank you. Chuck

Thanks Chuck. When you said ‘Heaven’, I thought you meant the nightclub in London which can have a strict door policy! But you mean the religious one, which I don’t believe in, but if it does exist as per the brochure, there is no chance I’m getting in, and Hell sounds far more fun anyway! So yes as you were the first to ask the points are yours!

I once walked A Coruna to Bruma, caught an afternoon bus to Ferrol and the walked to SDC. A somewhat different experience! All in all I didn't think the A Coruna legs as enjoyable.

Ah, Chuck. Ain’t you read the rules? “God doesn’t count your miles nor Santiago weigh your pack. Look to your heart pilgrim for there is where pilgrimage lies.”

If it helps my “heaven” is a group of islands somewhere West, beyond the sundering seas. The broken boat at Muxia keeps me in these fractious lands for now. One day I’ll make my pilgrimage there and the boat will be healed; as will I

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Many Kiwis and Australians in London seriously had their Parents convinced that they were turning to religion because they went to Church every Sunday .....
Except it wasn't a church, it was 'The Church', a pub. The venue moved around Clapham and King's Cross over the years, and varied from a standard pub to I think a warehouse, but the crowd remained predominantly Antipodean, young, and drunk. When you bought your beer it came as a Sixpack in a plastic Bag with ice. Sawdust on the floor, a comedian followed by a stripper or two .....

Started out around 1980, it was still going strong when a young neighbour of mine visited around 2010 - no idea what's happened since.

Yes I was a regular there in the late 90s when it was a warehouse round the back of Kings Cross Station. As you say folks from NZ/AU/ZA led the charge and the British folks happily joined in. Just a Sunday event from midday for a few hours and then off back to the ‘Aussie bars’ in Acton and Earls Court. Music and drinking. The strippers were the customers rather than professionals. Folks from NZ/AU/ZA always a significant influence, and highly liked, on the London pub scene! The ‘six pack’ rings a bell. Fitted in with the ‘vibe’ which wasn’t overly sophisticated!

Heaven is still going I believe though not been for many years! Yes many wore minimal clothing whether it was a theme night or not! Weather didn’t seem to deter folks!
