Travelling out of Santo Domingo

My dad and I plan to continue our Camino from Pamplona and finish in Santo Domingo. I am finding it very hard to find transport out of Santo Domingo to either Bilbao or Biarritz airports. Has anyone else travelled out of Santo Domingo? Can anyone advise me on the best route to take?

You coul take a bus from SDdlC to Logrono for less than 5 euros. At Logrono choose either bus or rail to travel onward. See www.Rome2Rio.com for more info.

There is a direct bus from Santo Domingo to Bilbao city center , see http://www.autobuseslaunion.com/en/print-timetables.asp and then a bus from there to the airport. Buen Camino, SY
