Travelling from Santiago to Paris

Time of past OR future Camino
Camino Ingles 2016
Camino Portuguese 2017
I've looked at reasonable flights from Santiago to Paris and the are all operated by Vueling which I have heard horror stories about so I was hoping others would have some suggestions. I understand that there isn't any efficient mode of transportation to get to Paris so our second choice would be overnight train.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I got a great price from Iberia for a flight Santiago-Madrid-Paris. It leaves early morning and gets in at around 11:00 at Orly.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Ryanair have daily flight from Santiago to Barcelona at 8:50 am
I traveled with Vueling on my first camino last year and I don't noticed special problem with their service.

I've flown twice with Vueling with no problems. Pretty much like other no-frills airlines and a big improvement on Ryanair.

I have also flown with Vueling several times without problems. That said there will always be problems with no-frills airlines from time-to-time, it goes with the territory. Substituting two flights for one only increases the odds of a problem occuring.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thanks for all your input. I managed to book us all on a flight from Santiago to Madrid with Iberia then Madrid to Paris with Air France, arriving in Paris at a reasonable enough hour to find our way to our apartment:)

I flew Vueling from Santiago to Paris in 2013. No complaints and it wasn't a long flight anyway. I'd easily fly them again.

Those short haul flights are just fine for what they are: a bus ride in the air. If the airlines were not safe, they would not be allowed to fly, regardless of what they charge. Seats are tight, there is no legroom, but for the price they charge, and how quickly they will get you to your destination, I am very happy to fly with them. No worse then Westjet, or SouthWest.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Hello! I’ve been browsing the forum and there’s plenty of info for baggage transfers from stage to stage, where you pick it up daily, give it back and move on, however what I’m after is a service...
