I know this question has likely been asked numerous times but, I haven't seen it in my quick review of the forum so, here go's...I'm traveling from Paris to SJPP on 5/12 via train thru Bayonne -- arriving Bayonne around 19:30. Need to be in SJPP same night -- but no trains. It appears there is a bus that departs around 21:00 but cannot determine where bus station is in relation to train station. Any guidance??

The bus stop is just outside the train station. Anyone there can point it out to you.

As Jeff001 wrote the bus 'station' is in front of the Bayonne SNCF Gare. However this is more of a stop than a station; facing out from the main door it will be your left. You can buy the ticket in the rr station. The trip to SJPdP which is the last stop will take about 1 1/2 hours.

Bon Voyage and Buen Camino,
