Transportation from Santiago to Porto

Hi All!
My husband and I are walking from Valenca to Santiago in April/May 2025 and will need transportation from Santiago back to Porto at the end of our walk. I would understand there are bus and train services. The bus would take many hours. Can anyone recommend a reliable train service? Or other reliable transportation?

ALSA buses from Santiago to Porto take about 3 and a half hours. Is that "many hours"? Train travel would almost certainly take longer as you have to change trains (and possibly stations) in Vigo.

Oh! This is perfect. I thought I saw one bus service that noted up to 15hrs with stops. Thank you!

The train actually takes longer since you need to change trains at Vigo.

I took the bus from SdC back to the Porto airport. It was super easy and convenient.
