May-June
Hi everyone, my girlfriend and I are walking the French Camino in May June. We’re so excited and are trying to book accommodation. We’re from Aussie and want to know how to translate the Spanish sites into English, especially for the albergue. Thanks in advance.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Many browsers can translate webpages for you if you use the browser's main menu and select the Translate option. The Chrome browser is more advanced. If you go into Settings and then into Advanced settings there is the sub-menu item for Languages settings. It will show the language setting of your device and ask which languages you know. Then there are the settings that you really want. Use the slider to indicate that you want Chrome to ask you if you want the webpage translated. But wait, there's another Advanced settings there! Set what language you want the webpage translated to. Also indicate which languages you always want translated automatically. Finally you can indicate for what languages you don't want the translation offer.

Because posts on this forum may contain links to news articles I have set my Chrome browser to always translate Basque, Catalan, Galician and Portuguese. I know some Spanish and a bit of other languages so I want the translation offer to come up for them so I can practice reading them or take the easy way out if I'm feeling lazy or pressed for time. You do you.

Since we're recommending browsers, I'll add a plug in for Safari on MacOS, which makes translating a website as easy as clicking the "translate" icon in the address bar.

Basically, any browser these days can translate web pages for you. Look for an option in one of the app's dropdown menus if there's not a one-click solution in the browser itself.
