I will be walking from Matosinhos literal way, planning to stay in municipal or private alberges

The question is: can I use the transfer company on a daily basis, meaning that I do not know where I stop for a night ahead of time?

From what I read Pilbeo wants me to specify all the stops ahead of time

You will need to give the transport company a destination where they can drop off your pack. Typically, one contacts the company the afternoon or evening before and instructs them where to pick up your bag and then where to deliver it. In my experience, they usually do not deliver to municipal albergues. However, there is no problem with the private ones. You do not need to specify all of your stops in advance. Although some companies may have this as an option, check out TOP Santiago as we used them and did our baggage transfers on a daily basis. Bom Caminho!

Let me also just mention that I contacted this carrier through WhatsApp. When you tell them your drop off or pickup locations, they will let you know if there is any problem. It’s all quite easy and works very efficiently.

I used the post office delivery with El Camino con Correos to have my bag taken to rack night's stay. Good luck.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
If you use Correos (Paq Mochila) you will be asked for the start location and end location in order to work out the price (more transfers will be cheaper than one transfer). Then, you only have to specify the pickup point before each day, or well in advance if you book in advance. Its not necessary to fill it out in its entirety
