Well, at 70 I am finally doing my Camino! I will be walking from Porto to Santiago, arriving there on Oct 21st. I will be in need of a Transfer from Santiago to Porto on Oct 22, to my Hotel OpoHotel Porto Aeroporto. How does one go about booking a Transfer? Thank you, Nancy

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
You may note that a ticket to Porto airport is more expensive than a ticket to the (further) centre of Porto. Don’t be tempted to book the latter and get off early, the driver will not release your bag. It’s an airport tax.

Just wondering how you found that out........

You can take a bus from Santiago that will drop you off at the airport. Check on the Alsa website to book

Thank you! My Hotel, is the OpoHotel, would it be better to bus to there?

Thanks so much everyone for your help! I come from a small Rural village in NS, population of about 300, and really have never travelled like this. A wee bit nervous.

I took the bus to Porto, nice, inexpensive and easy.

Thank so much! It’s a bit confusing to me, but my Hotel is OpoHotel Porto, is that right at the Airport?
If it was any closer it would be on the runway - so, yes.

The ALSA bus is clean and comfortable and has a lavatory on board for which - if the lock’s working - you may need 50eurocent coins.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
