Train from Santiago de Compostela to Porto

Sunday travel, May 5th, needing to get from Santiago de Compostela to Porto. Is there a direct train? A train with transfers? A direct bus? Any info is helpful! thanks!

Bus company. This is their website. They use the Spanish version of the name - Oporto - rather than Porto. https://www.alsa.com/en/web/bus/home

The train from SdC to Porto can be confusing as last time I looked you had to book the Spanish portion and the Portuguese portion separately. see https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Santiago-de-Compostela/Porto#r/Train

I've always taken the Alsa bus but one of these days I'll take the train, overnight in Vigo and continue on.

Bus is simple and straightforward. I took the bus from SdC to Porto last week. Travel by bus is often quicker than via trains.

I've taken both an ALSA bus and a Flixbus from Santiago to Porto. It was a pleasant ride, and faster than the train.
